Manchester United’s fans are worried that they will be relegated from the Premier League this season due to an incident that happened in the past.
Tan Hath’s United have lost 13 games in all competitions this season after losing to West Ham on Saturday. As well as these defeats, Manchester United have had a poor record since 1930, with several defeats before Christmas.
Manchester United was relegated from the English first division in the current Premier League that season. In the 1930-31 season, Arsenal won the title by 7 points, with Aston Villa finishing second.
At the moment, Arsenal are leading the points table, so the fans are worried that Manchester United will be relegated.
One fan wrote: “The same year it happened we got relegated and Arsenal won the league.”
Another fan wrote on social media that the United team is approaching the game for relegation and is a shameful team. In the 1930-31 season, United lost at home to Huddersfield 6-0.
The United team, whose results are bad, will have to compete with the Aston Villa team in the 3rd place in a tight match on Boxing Day.
