Premier League leaders Manchester United played the last match of the Champions League group against German giants Bayern Munich at Old Trafford last night and lost 0-1.
As a result of this result, United was only able to rank 4th in the group standings table, and had to leave the competition, as well as not being allowed to play in the Europa League.
However, United coach Eric Tan Hart said that he has no regrets about the result. He said that he will carry the good things gained from this to the Premier League. I said that I will try to come back here.
“There is no regret. We could not show this. But we have to accept this incident. We study from here. We have to learn and work.”
“We were able to show some good performances in the Champions League. We need to take that to the Premier League. We want to get back to the Champions League.”
“We didn’t lose today. That’s clear. We had a good performance. However, it is true that we have committed some mistakes. In the end, it wasn’t enough.”
“According to the data, we did not collect enough points. As a group of us, I was dissatisfied as a manager. We should have done better,” Tan Hat said.
