Sources close to Barcelona have revealed that Spanish La Liga top club Barcelona is considering selling Robert Lewandowski, the main striker who is struggling to score goals this season, at the end of this season.

Robert Lewandowski, the 35-year-old Polish captain, moved from Bayern Munich to Barcelona last season for a fee of 45 million euros, and he may have helped Barcelona win La Liga last season.

Lewandowski played 46 games in all competitions for Barcelona last season, scored 33 goals and assisted 8 times, but this season he has only scored 9 goals in all competitions for Barcelona.

In addition, since Lewandowski only scored 1 goal in 5 games played in the Champions League, team officials, including Barcelona head coach Xavi, began to think that Lewandowski was reaching the end of his career.

Lewandowski has been struggling to perform well this season, and his relationship with some of Barcelona’s young stars has been strained as he has said in interviews that his teammates have not been able to create many scoring opportunities for him.

According to a report by Football Transfer, a well-known news outlet, Barcelona is interested in selling Lewandowski in the upcoming summer market and is interested in finding money, and believes that the recently signed young Brazilian star striker Victor Rogwe will be able to replace Lewandowski.
